Astana leads on most socio-economic development indicators - N.Nazarbayev

ASTANA. April 2. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ The analysis held on the instructions of the Kazakh President showed that in recent years Astana has become a strong leader on most socio-economic development indicators. Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public at the sitting on further development of Astana city today.
"The most important thing is that Astana is becoming more comfortable for its residents and guests. The city has a relatively high level of education, new innovative-educational institutions, a medical cluster", the President said.
The Head of the State noted that the New International University and vocational school for orphans would be put into service in 2010.
