Astana int'l forum brings together CIS librarians

ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM An international forum of librarians of CIS countries has started its work in Astana.
The two-day forum will focus on pressing issues such as the state policy impact on the development of library collection, opportunities to join efforts to provide access to cultural heritage, development of cooperation between the CIS libraries and so on. The forum includes business, sectional and cultural programs.
Kazakh Culture and Information Minister Darkhan Mynbai opened the forum reading the welcome speech of Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed.
