Astana hosts VIII sitting of Kazakh-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission
The issues of trade-economic interaction, energy and industry, agriculture, infrastructure, tourism, small and medium business, taxation and bilateral contractual legal framework are discussed at the sitting.
"Our cooperation is characterized by full absence of political or economic controversy. We have a bog potential for development of our interaction", Co-Chair of the Commission, Vice Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan T. Suleimenov said.
"Due to the forthcoming chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE we are very interested in Romania's experience of chairmanship in this organization as well as its experience in integration into the European structures and bringing the national legislation to conformity with the European standards", he stressed.
Co-Chair from the Romania's side, Economy Minister Tudor Serban noted that his country was interested in joint participation in Constanta-Trieste, Nabucco and other oil and gas projects.
