Astana hosts two-day festival of Japanese cinema

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Yesterday a two-day festival of Japanese cinema kicked off in the city of Astana.
Opening the event Ambassador of Japan to Kazakhstan Masayoshi Kamohara said that this year's festival included an exhibition of Japanese dolls, art contest and other activities. According to him, Japanese movies presented at the festival helped Kazakhstanis to learn about the daily life of the Japanese and their traditions.
It is worth noting that the festival is held in Astana for the second time. This year's festival (October 10-11) will show 4 feature films.
