Astana hosts forum of graduates of Academy of Public Administration under Kazakh President

Rector Aryn Orsariyev outlined that a purpose of the forum is not only to gather those who graduate from this higher educational institution, but strengthen continuation of generations involved in the process of public administration.

"Over the last 10 years the number of graduates of all institutions made about one thousand people and nowadays 100 out of them hold high political offices", A.Orsariyev noted.

According to him, in 2009 27 percent of graduates were promoted, 40 percent were appointed judges. It is noteworthy that 65 people, including the presidents of countries and leading professors of the best universities of the world such as the Harvard, London School of Economics and Political Science, National University of Singapore and others have read lectures in the Academy.

First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, Chairman of the Board of Samruk Kazyna National Welfare Fund Kairat Kelimbetov, Chairman of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Union" Azat Peruashev and other were graduates from this higher educational establishment at different times.
