Astana hosts exhibition of popular Kazakhstani artist

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakh artist Sarsenbay Aliyev's personal exhibition dedicated to the Day of Constitution has been unveiled at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
The exposition consisting of 32 paintings will be open for public till the end of September 2014. Residents and guests of Astana cities can immerse into Aliyev's creative world by attending the exhibition. Artist's creative aspiration is to show the range of colors of amazing nature of his native West Kazakhstan region, people living in the Caspian steppes, their hard work, the atmosphere of life and ancient customs on canvas. Today, S. Aliyev is a senior lecturer at the Department of Professional Education at the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University. In 2013, he was awarded with the medal of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. His first solo exhibition was held at a museum of arts in Atyrau back in 2002.
