Astana Forum takes lead in assessing Global Risks

ASTANA. KAZINFORM G-global Initiative, inaugurated two years ago by President Nursultan Nazarbayev, is gaining traction worldwide. This year, the Astana Economic Forum, a G-global project will lead expert community in discussing the ways to predict and mitigate global risks, commonly known as black swans.

The new sub-forum called the Global Risk Expo will engage business and government representatives in a lively discussion and developing recommendations. The keynote event of the Global Risk Expo is a disaster recovery and management conference One World For Life, chaired by Hon. Curtis Weldon, Member of U.S.Congress (1987-2007) and Dr.Tom Cellucci, Former Technology Advisor to Presidents Bush and Obama. The conference will discuss global initiatives in prediction, prevention and disaster recovery, as well as inter-governmental cooperation in prediction and prevention of natural and man-made disasters, the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists and Success K media agency said.
