ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekob/ The Astana Economic Forum has become a platform for advanced discussions of economic problems. Karim Massimov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, has said it delivering a speech at the 4th Astana Economic Forum today.
As the Head of the Kazakh Government pointed out, ensuring equal opportunities for economic development as well as ensuring social equality in our society are the most urgent issues to date. Alongside, the world financial-economic crisis negatively impacted the living standards in the world, he added.
According to the International Monetary Fund, 30 mln people have lost their jobs due to the crisis. Approximately 200 mln people are searching for it to date.
