Astana discusses small and medium businesses development problems
The meeting participants were presented the results of a research on development of small and medium businesses in Kazakhstan conducted by Kazakh experts together with their colleagues from the Korean Institute of Strategic Development.
"It's a unique project implementing which we would like to use Korea's experience in development of small and medium businesses. Korea made a breakthrough in its economic development in 60s. To date this country is one of the leading world exporters of high technologies", Vice President of Kazakhstan Institute of Economic Researches, PhD in Economics Aigul Toksanova said.
According to her, within the project's implementation our experts visited Seoul where they got familiarized with the Korean model of small and medium businesses development. Following the research an action plan on development of SMB in Kazakhstan will be developed.
