Astana closes VII International Delphic Games

ASTANA. September 28. KAZINFORM Closing ceremony of the VII International Delphic Games of the CIS member states took place at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana on Friday.
"I express my sincere gratitude to President Nursultan Nazarbayev for the support of the Delphic movement and holding in Kazakhstan VII International Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS countries," Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin said in his speech.
During the Games awards were won by 11 of the 16 participating countries. Around 800 participants and more than 300 special guests and jury consisting of experts from Italy, Romania, Belarus, and Moldova attended the competitions.
The largest number of volunteers in the history of the Games - more than 500 students was involved in the Delphic Games 2012.
