Astana. December 15. KAZINFORM - Today Astana is an architectural embodiment of state power, music, frozen in architecture," President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced at the yesterday's solemn meeting devoted to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan foreign affairs ministry informs.

"Astana is the heart of Kazakhstan - property of our people. Today Astana is an architectural embodiment of state power, music, frozen in architecture. In its new quarters, squares, parks, architectural masterpieces as a mirror reflects the great history of our independence. Therefore, a love for Astana is a filial love of the every Kazakhstani to our common motherland - the Republic of Kazakhstan,"Nursultan Nazarbayev announced.
According to the Kazakh Leader, this is "alpha and omega of a new Kazakh patriotism."
In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev noted once again that Astana is preparing for the World Expo 2017 international exhibition. " All these achievements - the enduring heritage of Kazakhstan's independence, its real benefits and prospects," the President stated.
