ASTANA. November 14. KAZINFORM - Cities of St. Petersburg and Astana are actively looking for new ways of development. As reported today at a business forum the Neva River Mayor Georgyi Poltavchenko the primary task of the economy is implementation of a competitive cluster model.
"Actually there are several clusters successfully operating in our city: automotive, pharmaceutical, shipbuilding, electronics clusters, and information technology. We are convinced that the future of our city, and our country is for innovation", said the head of St. Petersburg administration.
According to him, among the most promising areas of the relationship between our two cities is important cooperation in the field of health care and pharmaceutical industries.
"I believe that our task lies in working together to ensure the availability of high-tech medical care, and quality medicines", he added.
