Astana among Top-21 smart cities in the world

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana was included into the list of world's top-21 smart cities, made by Intelligent Communities Forum (USA).
The list of 21 smart cities on the Planet is conducted annually by the Intelligent Communities Forum. The list included five cities in the USA, four from Australia and Taiwan, three from Canada and one from Brazil, Japan, Kenya and New Zealand each. Kazakh city appeared on the list for the first time. All ‘Top-21 smart cities on the Planet' participants will provide more detailed data that will be evaluated by an independent research firm. Thus, in June 2015 at the event in Toronto (Canada), one of these cities will be officially declared the best intelligence community in the world. By the way, last year the title of "Intelligent Community 2013" was awarded to the Canadian city of Toronto.
