Astana ambulance service received 23 new vehicles

ASTANA . December 13. KAZINFORM - 23 new response vehicles were gifted to Astana ambulance service, according to the capital city's press service.
"The Ministry of Healthcare and the city administration have jointly allocated funds for the purchase of 23 modernly equipped vehicles to tangibly increase the reuired standard," - the press service of the Ministry said.
According to the Kazakh health care ministry's order, one ambulance car is meant for the service of 10 thousand people. By 1 December this year, the city's ambulance service had 74 vehicles, of which only 62 were used, whereas the rest had either to be written off or repaired,"- the city mayor' office provides the figures.
