Astana Akim awarded Astana Tandau winners

ASTANA. June 30. KAZINFORM Today Mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov awarded the winners of the first competition "Astana Tandau" (Choice of Astana).
This project initiated by Akimat on the eve of the capital day to tell about the residents of Astana, who by their daily labor have earned the trust and love of people, and whose life stories deserve to be a model for others.
Among the awardees were gynecologist Vladimir Kalashnikov, elementary scholl teacher Mariya Shokubassova, local police inspector Petr Flyaga, bus driver Dulat Akhmetov, and many others.
The winners were determined by the online voting, which took place from 1 to June 20, 2012 on the site of Astana akimat www.astana.kz Candidates received a total of over 90,000 votes.
