Astana airport implements automatic self check-in system

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At the European Aviation conference ‘ICT Forum 2014', held in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Vice President of SITA in Russia and CIS Dmitry Krasnov told about the interest of the Kazakhstani air carriers and airports in the implementation of IT-technologies.
According to the vice-president, almost all major airports have expressed interest in installing self check-in kiosks that will reduce the check-in time of the passengers, and allow them to select a seat and print a boarding pass.
Astana International Airport has started using SITA solutions for planning operations in the preparation of seasonal schedule, astana.kz reported.
