Association of Kazakh students established in China
About 100 delegates of Kazakh student organizations flocked to the Chinese metropolis to combine and unite existing in China a number of organizations into a unified student government association of Kazakh students.
According to the vice-president of "Center for International Programs" (CIP) JSC of the Ministry of Education and Science Galiya Dosmukhambetova as for regarding youth policy it is much easier to regulate it internally than abroad.
"CIP" JSC is the administrator of grant of the President of Kazakhstan titled "Bolashak ", and we have extensive experience in working with students abroad," says G.Dosmuhambetova.
- We have studied the experience of other foreign countries - America and Europe. Organizations should be regulated independently, because thanks to this we promote the image of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh students studying abroad. Any student, for whatever program he enrolled, in the first place is representing Kazakhstan."
"What is being done in China is a positive thing. Here is a three-stage model of education that we want to see in other countries. Students created a hub in one country, then its representation in the cities and universities. I think this is the correct version of student organizations abroad. This experience exists in the U.S., last year there was created the Alliance of Kazakh students uniting 16 organizations. Now we are implementing a project in China, and will continue to conquer Europe ", summed up the vice-president.
At the end of Qurultay the participants signed a memorandum of Association of Kazakh student organizations operating in China.
As previously reported by Kazinform, more than 100 student organizations, delegates from the cities of Beijing, Urumqi, Guangzhou, Xi'an and Wuhan have gathered in Shanghai. The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Center for International Programs of Kazakh Education Ministry and Kazakh diplomats.
It should be recalled that in Shanghai from 24 to 25 April there is the II Kurultaj of Kazakh students in China on the 20th anniversary of the international scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Bolashak".
The event has been organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, "CIP" JSC with the support of the Kazakh Embassy in China and the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai.
