Asset Irgaliyev to helm Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms
By a decree of the President of Kazakhstan, Asset Irgaliyev has been appointed the Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Akorda press service.

Asset Irgaliyev was born on June 18, 1986 in Kostanay.
He is a graduate of KIMEP University (2008), International Business School in Sweden (2008), University of York (2009), and the University of Nottingham (2010).
Previously, Irgaliyev was the Assistant to the President of Kazakhstan on Economic Affairs (September 2023-May 2024). In May 2024, he was appointed the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the World Trade Organization and international economic structures.
Earlier, it was reported that Kanat Sharlapaev was appointed the President's Advisor on Economic Affairs.
