Asian Games schedule February 7: Team Kazakhstan events

The 2025 Asian Winter Games are set to begin on February 7 in Harbin, China, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
Prior to the opening ceremony, Kazakhstan’s men’s ice hockey team are to compete in their third match against Chinese Taipei in the preliminary round Group A, set to begin at 6:00am Astana time. Kazakhstan and Japan are atop of Group A with goal difference keeping Kazakhstan second.
Kazakhstan's short track athletes will be represented in men’s and women’s 1,500m, 500m, 1,000m and mixed 2,000m relay races.
Earlier, Kazakhstan’s women’s ice hockey secured their third win over Chinese Taipei in the preliminary round group B match at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
