Asian Champion L. Gubareva to participate in 6th Military World Games

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Asian Champion in biathlon junior sergeant of the military unit No. 85510 Lyudmila Gubareva prepares for participation in the 6th Military World Games scheduled to be held in South Korea.
As the press service of the Defense Ministry informs, Lyudmila is currently a member of the multi-disciple competition team of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. She competed at the events of regional and international level multiple times. At the Spartakiad of the Army of Kazakhstan she demonstrated the best results among all servicemen taking the first place. The World Military Games are held every four years before the Olympic Games since 1995. The Kazakhstani team took the 11th place among 109 participating countries at the previous games in Rio in 2011. It is planned to send about 70 athletes from Kazakhstan to the next games.
