Asiad 2011: Kazakhstanis captured gold and silver in ski orienteering

TALDYKORGAN. February 2. KAZINFORM /Sandugash Duissenova/ Mikhail Sorokin was the fastest in the ski orienteering among men and won a gold medal at the VII Asian Winter Games.
The second result was shown by his teammate Vitaly Lilichenko. Using a map and compass to locate a series of checkpoints shown on a specialized topographic map the competitors visited 17 checkpoints.
