As OSCE chairman Kazakhstan to promote ideas of interconfessional consent - President

ANA. July 1. KAZINFORM. /Valentina Yelizarova/ Making a speech at the III Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced that Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE will be used for the promotion of ideas of interconfessional consent.
"Over many centuries the people of Kazakhstan have been enriched with spiritual heritage of different ethnoses and confessions", the Head of the State emphasized.
"Kazakhstan declared the year of 2010 as the International Day of Rapprochement of Cultures. This initiative was backed by the UN", he noted.
"We will inform our partners on the OSCE and Organization of Islamic Conference of the decisions and recommendations made at the Congress as well as try to realize them in the course of our chairmanship in these organizations", the President said.
