Art works worth 500 million euros stolen in Paris

PARIS. May 20. KAZINFORM Five famous paintings by prestigious art masters, including Matisse and Picasso, were stolen overnight Wednesday, French police said Thursday; Kazinfor refers to Xinhua.
The loss includes art works by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Fernand Leger and Amadeo Modigliani, investigators told reporters.
The gate of the Modern Art Musuem located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris by Seine River was found wide open around 6:50 in the morning, and one window of the musuem was broken, local reports said.
A person intruding the museum was recorded by the survelliance camera of the museum, investigators at the site said; Kazinfor cites Xinhua.
