“In recent months, the house commissioning has been the most joyful event. A total of 700 new properties are being constructed in the local area. Of these, 400 are large-panel, fast-track houses. A total of 1,696 houses in the city have been identified as requiring emergency attention. Some properties are being repaired by our repair teams, while in other cases the owners have chosen to undertake the repairs themselves. I anticipate that all outstanding issues will be resolved by October 1. In areas where 100 houses were previously handed over, the current repair of roads is underway. The next stage of the project is to install asphalt paving," akim of the city Serik Mukhamediev stated.

Marat Tasmaganbetov, the first deputy akim of the region, who was present at the handover of keys, noted that construction of the houses for the victims commenced on April 25.
“The area was previously a wasteland, but has since been transformed into a new microdistrict. The construction of new houses has been completed in a relatively short period of time, and a housewarming party has been held to celebrate this achievement. The construction of the houses was made possible thanks to the sponsorship of several entities, including “Qazaqstan Khalqyna” Public Fund, Kaspi Bank JSC, KAZ Minerals, and “Kazakhmys”. The local plant «ZIKSTO» JSC provided the houses with household appliances and furniture. Construction of a kindergarten has begun in the neighbourhood, and the completion of a comfortable school and social facilities is anticipated in the near future,” Tasmaganbetov noted.
