Armenia and Kazakhstan discuss prospects of bilateral relations

YEREVAN. August 29. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Armenia Ayimdos Bozjigitov met with Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandyan, Kazinform reported with the reference to Kazakh Foreign Ministry press service statement.
During the meeting current state and prospects of Kazakh-Armenian relations were discussed.
In the context of the upcoming September UN General Assembly session in New York, the sides paid a special attention to issues of interaction within international organizations, in particular, underscored an important role of UN in support of international peace and security, Kazinform refers to trend.az.
The Ambassador expressed hope that the Armenian side will support Kazakhstan's candidacy for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018. The head of Armenian Foreign Ministry welcomed the information of Kazakh diplomat about efforts which are made by Kazakhstan in this direction.
