MOSCOW. December 30. KAZINFORM The Ariane 5 carrier rocket launched from the Kourou space center in French Guiana has delivered its dual-satellite payload into orbit, the Arianespace satellite launch firm said. Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The carrier rocket carrying Spane's Hispasat 1E and South Korea's Koreasat 6 satellites blasted off from Kourou at 18:27 local time (17:27 GMT).
The launch was initially scheduled for December 21, but was delayed twice: first for December 28 because of a client's request to carry out an additional check-up of a satellite, and then for Thursday because of bed weather.
Thursday's blastoff was the sixth and the last launch scheduled for this year. Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
