ArcelorMittal Temirtau plans to boost melted steel production up to 6 mln tons by 2015

ASTANA. April 19. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "ArcelorMittal Temirtau" JSC plans to raise melted steel production up to 6 mln tons by 2015, production senior director Viktor Adyalin told during a press conference in Astana.
The company targets to crank up production of melted steel from the current 4 mln tons per year to 6 mln tons by 2015, he added. Therefore it is necessary to upgrade the enterprise and extend its raw materials base. The provisional sum of investments into the re-equipment of the company for five years makes 130 bln tenge.
