Anti-corruption conference kicks off in Borovoye

BOROVOYE. June 24. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ "Due to the political will of President N.Nazarbayev Kazakhstan managed to build up own model of combating corruption", Chairman of the Kazakh Agency on Fighting Economic Crimes and Corruption Kairat Kozhamzharov said at the opening of "International Mechanisms and Instruments of Combating Corruption" international conference in Borovoye.
Experts and representatives of the anti-corruption and law-enforcement agencies of all CIS and European Union member states, USA, African states, non-governmental and international organizations take part in the conference.
The participants of two-day conference will discuss issues of realization of the UN Convention against Corruption by the world community and the methodology of evaluation of the Corruption Perceptions Index. The Kazakhstan experience in the field of combating corruption will be presented at special session.
