Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman get married
More than 100 guests were invited for the wedding weekend, which started Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa. A nearby private estate was secured for the ceremony, according to Xinhua.
Hathaway wore a gown designed by "very good friend" Valentino-and while the newlyweds aren't flashing pics for the world to see just yet, we're going to bet the words radiant and stunning applied.
The couple, who have been together four years, got engaged last November.
Though she encountered an odd, prison-bound bump on her road to happiness, Hathaway has appeared to enjoy a cuddly, drama-free courtship with Shulman.
"I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan," the star of the Princess Diaries and the upcoming Les Misérables said last year of their relationship. "I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"
They started dating in late 2008 after meeting through mutual friends and by November 2011 Shulman had popped the question, offering up a reportedly 6-carat diamond ring he helped design with Kwiat jewelers.
Befitting of their mutual smarts, Hathaway and Shulman held an engagement party in February at a New York City bookstore, where their friends and family noshed on vegan cuisine in honor of the pair's impending nuptials.
As for what makes Hathaway and Shulman click, the actress told USA Today last year that they both enjoy their normal, low-key lifestyle.
"We have house parties and dinner parties and just hang out," Hathaway said. "I'm so delighted by [Adam]. He's all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence."
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
