AN-2 aircraft crashes in Zhambyl region

TARAZ. KAZINFORM - AN-2 plane has crashed in Shusk district of Zhambyl region, 45 kilometers east of Tole bi village at 3:00 p.m. today.
Rescue crews of Zhambyl region have been dispatched to and are currently working at the accident site. According to director of Auliye Ata International Airport JSC Anatoliy Nesterenko, the aircraft capable of carrying 12 passengers belonged to Karaganda-based Olymp-Air Company. "The rescuers have confirmed they found the crash site. They are currently searching the area for the wreckage and remains. We'll have more details after the emergency meeting at the Zhambyl regional administration," rep of the Zhambyl emergency department Bagdat Danilov said.
