Among 147 Kazakhstanis trapped in Egypt are residents of Almaty, Karaganda, Shymkent and Kyzylorda cities

According to her, the tourists have been resting in Egypt since December 31, 2009. Yesterday January 11 they had had to leave for Kazakhstan. At present the tourist firm is negotiating with the Egyptian air companies on organization of their return from Egypt.
At a rough guess, On travel can lose up to USD 20, 000 - USD 30, 000 since the Civil Aviation Committee of the Transport Ministry refused to give permission for departure of A-320 Bulgarian aircraft chartered by Trust Kazakhstan Air Company which was performing Almaty-Hurghada-Almaty flight.
As Kazinform earlier reported, the Committee of Civil Aviation of the Kazakh Ministry of Transport did not permitted Bulgaria's A-320 plane chartered by Kazakhstan's Trust Company to perform Almaty-Hurgada-Almaty flight. "This aircraft is permitted to perform only charter flights to Thailand until the end of January 2010. We do not find it reasonable to let Bulgarian planes fly to Egypt and back while Kazakhstani and Egyptian planes can perform the same flights. Moreover, our pilots are lack of jobs", Vice Chairman of the Committee Bayanbek Smagulov clarified.
