Ammonia leakage claims 6 lives in central Malaysia
The victims, including a store manager, died from inhaling excessive ammonia on Tuesday.
Another three Bangladeshi workers also suffered from the gas leakage had been hospitalized at the Tanjung Karang Hospital in the state of Selangor.
It was learnt that when the incident took place at 08:00 a.m. local time, manager Lim Kian Chew, 35, was trying to pull out a fainted Bangladeshi worker working in cooler tank used to store fish.
The incident also claimed four other people's lives, including Lim's relatives who were at the scene responding to calls for help.
