American families growing Kazakh children enjoyed concert in New York

ASTANA. April 14. KAZINFORM - April 11 in New York, the concert of Kazakh music to the general American public, was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakh-American alliance, the press office of the consulate reports.

The event was attended by representatives of official and business circles of the U.S., foreign diplomatic missions and the Kazakh Diaspora.

The U.S. State Department official Thomas Gallo in his speech expressed his support for the organization of such events aimed at rapprochement of cultures and peoples of our countries.

Publicly displayed were the works of Tlendiev, Usenov, Baiterekov and other Kazakh composers performedby Gulmira Amurtaev and Samal Shaikenova combining their stay in the U.S. with the promotion of the Kazakh culture.

Spectators were pleased with the singing of Kazakh songs by Sapargalieva.

"The organization of such concerts in celebration of Nowruz has become a tradition' says the Consul General Raushan Esbulatova. - We try to provide the opportunity to perform on stage not only for great and deserved teams, but also for a talented musician, carving their own path.
