American boxing legend Roy Jones to visit Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Legendary boxers Roy Jones, Jr. and Oleg Maskaev are set to visit the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana tomorrow, Kazinform has learnt from the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Culture and Sports Arystanbek Mukhamediuly will meet with the boxers on the 16th of December - the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Earlier it was reported that Jones and Maskaev will attend the international boxing tournament in memory of prominent Kazakhstani coach Galym Zharylgapov in Karaganda. Roy Jones, Jr. is an American professional boxer boasting numerous world titles in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight divisions. Born in Zhambyl, Kazakh SSR, Oleg Maskaev is a former WBC heavyweight champion.
