Ambassador Kenneth Fairfax visits Ust-Kamenogorsk

ASTANA. August 19. KAZINFORM On August 13-14, Ambassador Kenneth J. Fairfax visited Ust-Kamenogorsk, where he opened the new AES cooling tower and met with the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region, Berdybek Saparbayev.
The sides noted the close relationship between Kazakhstan and the United States, citing business arrangements with the AES Company and General Motors. During his trip to Ust-Kamenogorsk, Ambassador Fairfax visited JSC Asia Auto, AES Corporation, JSC Kazzink, and JSC Ulbinsk Metallurgical Plant, the press service of the US Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan said.
