Ambassador: Kazakhstan expects growth in trade turnover with Azerbaijan

BAKU. August 31. KAZINFORM Growth is planned in the amount of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan in 2010, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov said at a press conference yesterday.
"The amount of trade turnover between the two countries in the favorable period was approximately $400 million in a year, in 2007 - $405 million, in 2008 - $465 million, and in 2009 it dropped roughly half - to $236 million due to the global financial crisis and decline in grain supply, " Primbetov said.
He said there are positive tendencies in 2010, "and we hope to reach pre-crisis amount of the trade turnover" Kazinform refers to N. Ismayilova, Trend News.
