Ambassador Danenov familiarizes French officials and business circles with Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan

Over 100 representatives of the leading French companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations interested in tuning up cooperation with the region took part in the event.

Kazakh Ambassador to France Nurlan Danenov delivered a speech to the participants. He attracted attention of the representatives of the French business, political and public circles to the Kazakh President's annual Message to the Nation, told about the current economic situation and successful realization of anti-recessionary measures in Kazakhstan, development of the Kazakh-French strategic partnership.

The Ambassador also informed of main directions of the State Program of Forced Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan and advantages of our investment climate in conditions of the Customs Union and introduction of new Tax Code. Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE and implementation of "Path to Europe" state program was also noted.

Special attention was paid to importance of the Kazakh President's upcoming visit to France this year. It will strengthen strategic bilateral partnership.

The event participants were interested in new economic initiatives of President N.Nazarbayev, information about new industrial, infrastructural and energy projects, and anti-crisis measures and banking sector stabilization.

The meeting participants noted importance of favorable political climate for development of joint projects in Kazakhstan, expansion of investments and promotion of large companies, small and medium business to the regional market.
