Altyn Sapa '09 winners awarded prizes - N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. July 15. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ A regional contest titled "Altyn Sala" ('golden quality') has regularly taken place in the North-Kazakhstan Oblast since 2006 and is aimed at implementation of the state policy in the sphere of quality.

The winners awarding ceremony took place Tuesday with participation of Mayor of the Region Serik Bilyalov. The contest is to encourage local enterprises to improve quality and raise competitiveness of domestic products, and create preconditions for implementation of quality management system.

Mayor of the Region emphasized that successful implementation of objectives set by the President in his Addresses to the Nation is impossible without rising of quality of domestic product as well as rising of competitiveness of Kazakhstan enterprises.

"ZIKSTO" JSC, "KPF Plastpolimer" LLP, "Molochny Soyuz" LLP, "Mysokombinat Leontieva" and individual entrepreneurs Vladimir Levin and Valery Beloded were awarded with cups and diplomas of the I degree. Other eight enterprises were awarded with cups and diplomas of the II degree.
