Almaty to host meeting of SCO Foreign Ministers Council

ALMATY. May 14. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ A regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states is to be held within Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the SCO in Almaty today.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov will head a Kazakh delegation at the negotiations.
The SCO is a permanent intergovernmental international organization, creation of which was proclaimed on June 15, 2001 in Shanghai (China) by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
