Almaty to host Belarus' national exhibition on 7-10 September

NSK. September 7. KAZINFORM The National Exhibition of Belarus will be held in Almaty on 7-10 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

According to BelTA, taking part in the forum will be a Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Chair of the Belarus-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation Valery Ivanov. He will attend an opening ceremony and a conference: "Belarus-Kazakhstan: cooperation without borders".

Valery Ivanov is set to meet with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aset Isekeshev, Co-Chair of the Belarus-Kazakhstan Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation Vladimir Bozhko and Akim of Almaty Ahmetzhan Yesimov. They are to tour a number of industrial facilities of the city.

The parties are going to discuss a wide range of issues of the mutual interest, including trade, economic and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects, participation of Belarusian companies in Kazakh government programs. Top on the agenda will be cooperation in power engineering, drafting a roadmap to promote the bilateral trade and economic cooperation for 2012-2013 and the preparation for the eighth session of the intergovernmental commission.

A regular session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan commission for Sci-Tech Cooperation and sub-commissions for industry and trade will also convene during the exhibition.
