Almaty to discuss government regulation on CU single customs area

ALMATY. June 5. KAZINFORM A conference entitled "Theoretical and practical aspects of government6 regulation on the single customs territory of the Customs Union" is to be held in Almaty on June 7. The event is organized by the Kazakhstan Union of Customs Declarants.

The conference aims at discussion of the urgent issues on the Customs Union, assistance to the companies in getting ready for new rules which will provide new opportunities and can cause problems for business. The most important aspects connected with application of the new customs legislation, issues of tax administration, tariff and non-tariff regulation, the order of conducting veterinary and phytosanitary control, licensing etc will be on agenda of the discussion too.

The conference will be attended by the representatives of the Tax Committee, the Committee of Customs Control of the Kazakh Ministry of Finances, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Committee on technical Regulation and Metrology and the Committee on Industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, representatives of the USAID etc.
