Almaty pays last respects to Zhumagali Ismagulov

ALMATY. January 17. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Turysbekova/ Today Almaty city has paid last respects to famous journalist, interpreter, publicist and writer, laureate of State Prize, Honorable worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Writers' and Journalists' Unions, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician of the Social Sciences Academy, Zhumagali Ismagulov.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a message of condolence to the family. The President highly appreciates merit and contribution of Zh. Ismagulov to the development of Kazakh journalism and literary studies. Secretary of State - Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev, Kostanay oblast akim Sergei Kulagin sent telegrams of condolence too.
