Almaty Mayor met with Istanbul Mayor

ALMATY. October 23. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Today within the framework of the Days of Almaty Culture in Istanbul Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has met with Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbaş. The Mayors discussed prospects of development of cultural-economic relationships between the cities.
"Our nations have common history, culture, language and religion. I am confident that it is the basis of dynamical development of relationships not only between our countries, but the whole Turkic world", A.Yessimov said.
The main topics of the meeting were: public transport organization, subway construction and infrastructure development.
The Istanbul Mayor noted that dynamical development of Kazakhstan and its leading positions in Central Asian region are pride of all Turkish people.
