Almaty keeps implementing anti-crisis measures

ALMATY. February 9. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ 75.4 thousand job positions have been created in Almaty over the course of realization of anti-crisis measures during two years, Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov said it at the meeting with city residents in Almaty.

'The Anti-Crisis Program and the Road Map have remained the main implements to resist the crisis. As a result of the Anti-Crisis Program having run for two years KZT 232.5 mln is invested into the city's economy', the Mayor said.

According to him KZT 35.6 mln has been disbursed within the Road Map program. Besides, the realization of a new 'Business Road Map 2020' program was started last year. KZT 1.2 bln was allocated from state budget on this purpose.

'On the Presidents' initiative the Forced Industrial-Innovation Development State Program has been realized in order to boost the modernization of the economy', A. Yessimov noted. 'Within the Industrialization Map we put into operation five electrical substations to fully cover the needs of the facilities where the Asian Games were held. We also launched the cableway connecting the Sports Complex 'Medeu' and Alpine Complex 'Shymbulak'', he reminded.
