Almaty held days of Turkmenistan Constitution and Makhtumkuli Fraga

ALMATY. May 19. KAZINFORM /Sara Mustafina/ The day before Almaty held two events - the Day of Makhtumkuli Fraga and Day of Turkmenistan Constitution, initiated by the Turkmen Embassy to Kazakhstan and Turkmen Cultural Centre of Almaty and Almaty oblast.
Representatives of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, Almaty akimat, mass media, scientists, writers, musicians, and heads of ethnic and cultural societies, Turkmen students, studying in Almaty, attended the events.
Fragi Makhtumkuli is the father of Turkmen literature, poet and thinker. Those gathered decided to open Makhtumkuli corner in Kazakhstan and have regular meetings.
The events were devoted to the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
