Almaty-Goa direct flight to be launched Nov 4

ASTANA. October 7. KAZINFORM Beginning from Nov 4, 2009 Kazakhstanis will enjoy direct flights from Almaty to Goa, Baiterek media-centre informs.
Earlier there were no direct flights from Kazakhstan.
The aircrafts will perform flights to the Indian state Goa every ten days. Duration of the flight at Boeing-737 will make 4.5 hours. Kazakhstani Air Company SCAT is the operator of the flight.
"India is Kazakhstan's strategic partner. We cooperate in oil and gas sphere, information technologies, military-scientific sector and in development of tourism. Launching the new flight is a result of such fruitful cooperation", a press release reads.
Goa is a province in India located on the Western coast of the Indian Ocean. The capital of the province in Panaji city, one of the largest cities of the province is Vasco da Gama.
