Almaty faces shortage of preschool institutions - A.Yessimov

ALMATY. January 24. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Despite opening of 3 state and 25 private kindergartens last year, Almaty city still faces shortage of preschool institutions.

Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has said it at a special sitting on the results of socio-economic development over 2010.
Hihglighting rise in birth in the city of Almaty, the Mayor urged his deputy jointly with heads of responsible administrations to work out possible mechanisms to reduce shortage of preschool establishments.
Three polyclinics were put into service; an emergency hospital, a perinatal center and a tuberculosis dispensary were constructed as well.
