All veterans of Great Patriotic War in Kazakhstan to receive housing by end of March

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - All veterans of the Great Patriotic War in Kazakhstan will receive housing by March 20, Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Social Development of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova informed at the sitting of the Nur Otan Party dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
"Some time ago we had 200 veterans waiting for housing, but now there are just 107 veterans left. For example, there are only five of them in Astana, 25 in South Kazakhstan region, 26 in Almaty region," she noted. According to her, on the instructions of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, all veterans have to be provided housing by March 20. The Deputy Minister also reminded that more than 5.7 bln tenge was allocated from the national budget for support of the veterans on the threshold of celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.
