Alexander Vinokurov surprises little fan in Belgium

Consul of Kazakhstan in Belgium Bolat Temirbayev presented the ProTeam Astana jersey to the boy in Brussels on behalf of Vinokurov. The jersey was signed by the Olympic champion especially for 10-year-old Sergey: "With best wishes to Sergey from Alexander Vinokurov" the writing on the jersey reads.

Vinokurov decided to present the jersey to the 10-year-old Kazakhstani-born Sergey when he saw the story of his adoption in a Sheteldegі Kazak Balalar TV program made by Kazakhstan TV Channel. The program was about children born in Kazakhstan and adopted by foreign families. Adopted by the family from Belgium, Sergey talked about his passion for cycling and shared his dream of becoming as famous as Vinokurov someday. Sergey Remeysen was unspeakably happy with the present and put the jersey on right away at the embassy.
