Al-Farabi treatises found in library of Spain

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after R. Suleimenov, Professor Derbisali Absattar have revealed 10 treatises of the outstanding scientist and philosopher of the Islamic Golden Age - Abu Nasir Al-Farabi in the library of the Escorial, Spain.
"I worked in the library for 10-11 days. And I was surprised to find 10 treatises of Al-Farabi. Kazakh scientists have translated more than 60 treatises into the Russian and Kazakh languages which were published in the city of Almaty," said the professor. Scientists informed that they continue searching for new sensational documents.
